“Wonderful people, from design to project management, all went according to plan and to budget. We loved that they listened to our at the time pretty scarce ideas, and presented various options to suit.”

– Bhagat Tarachand, Owner

Bhagat tarachand being a fine dine restaurant, this is the first ever time it is creating a fusion with contemporary interiors. However we’ve highlighted their deep routed elements throughout the space.

The area consists of 2 spaces indoor and outdoor which is segregated through our color palette of warm and cool.

The indoor area is washed with earthly colors resembling the Indian spices. The walls have laser cut panels all around the borders to enhance the existing niches. The circular canvases reflecting the Indian art and culture are specially curated.

The history of bhagat tarachand is interesting enough to be unlocked for people and  is precisely covered in our dramatic graphic walls.

Each of these lights are handmade in woollen threads with poppy colors emphasizing our vivid and dynamic culture.

The outdoor area is driven more towards a contemporary style breaking through its routine from the indoors with a glass screening. Green landscape, glass ceiling and wooden panelled walls keep it  cool while the vintage windows keep the values intact.

One of their specialities being the buttermilk, we’ve used cups, tall glasses and beer like bottles (in which they currently serve) as elements which are stacked in our signage glow box in the entrance. An enlarged version of these bottles are curated and installed on the indoor walls too.

The facade is cladded in decorative fire bricks and mirror. The tall 9 feet door marks the grand entrance of the Houseof Bhagat Tarachand. This door is detailed with Marine MDF which is laser cut in layers. The sleeper wood draws clean and chic borders helping the intricate details to stand out. The arch like door gives it a very classic style backing the legacy.
